Topic: “How to Get the Best Results from Your Google Searches!”

Janet Hilbun will present our November program, “How to Get the Best Results from Your Google Searches!” Most of us simply “google” what we want to search and are often disappointed with our results. This presentation will show you ways to maximize your internet–and database–searches by using different strategies and ways of constructing your searches.

Prior to that she was faculty at TWU and taught children’s and young adult literature, school library courses, and information storage and retrieval. In her “prior” life, she taught English and reading in middle and high school and was a middle school librarian. She has a BA from Texas Tech, an MEd from East Texas State (before it was East Texas A&M), and MLS from TWU, and a PhD from Rutgers in Library Science.
