For ninety years, the issues of the workingwomen of America were safeguarded, advocated, and promoted by Business and Professional Women’s Clubs all over the country.  When this national organization was absorbed into the  National BPW Foundation in 2009, the Texas Federation became Texas Business Women, a revitalized organization geared to the challenges of the twenty-first century.

At that time, Local Organizations in Plano, chartered in 1953, and in Richardson, chartered in 1962, merged to become Texas Business Women of Dallas Metro North.  The new name was chosen to reflect our scope and reach, with members from throughout the northern parts of Dallas and its suburbs. Members of the former North Dallas LO have since joined with us to form a strong, united Local Organization to serve the area.  Our merger has resulted in a larger, stronger, and more dynamic organization that seeks to improve the lives of workingwomen through the personal development and leadership programs offered through TBW, and through the friendship and networking opportunities offered by an active local group.

We invite workingwomen from North Dallas and the northern suburbs to join with us to make lives and careers better for women and for their families, and to have some fun while doing it!
