Please send me information about how to become a member.
I think it is very commendable that you help female business entrepreneurs connect and learn from one another. It's great knowing that the women of Dallas have access to such a wonderful and uplifting program.
I know of someone new in Grand Prairie who is looking for an organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area affiliated with the Business and Professional Women Federation. Is there some contact info I can pass on to get her connected. Thank you!
Hello Nancy,
I am also new to the state of Texas and the city of Plano. I would love to have some information about your womens business group for the purpose of networking for a job. I thank you in advance for all the information.
Hello, I am a student at SMU looking for an internship opportunities in the fall. I am not in Dallas for the summer and would prefer contact by phone. My number is 832-563-5282. Please email me at nfuentes@smu.edu or call to give more details. Thank you.
Hello, Nancy –
Thanks so much for contacting the Texas Business Women of Dallas Metro North through our website! We are a Local Organization of TBW, and our mission is “women helping women”. TBW furthers this goal through mentoring, networking, education, and advocacy, but we do not have internship programs per se.
That said, one never does know where opportunities will arise, so if you’ll email me a resume, along with some details about your chosen field of study and what kind of internship you are seeking, I’ll be sure to share it with our membership as well as the members of other LOs in the area. We are a diverse group from just about every career and profession, and we’d be really pleased to connect you if possible.
If you are interested in learning more about TBW, we’d welcome you at one of our monthly gatherings, on the fourth Monday of each month at the Southfork Hotel in Plano. Our State organization offers a Young Women’s Connection program aimed at women just starting their careers, and our LO would be pleased to mentor you!

TBW of Dallas Metro North
What time do you start your meetings. I am currently unemployed and fairly new to the area, looking to network.
Thank you
Sherry
Hi, Sherry –
Our meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month, and they begin at 6pm with networking, meeting and introducing guests, and socializing. Dinner is served around 6:30 and the evening’s program begins around 7, when everyone has finished dinner — or, at least, the guest speaker! I hope you can come to our July meeting, as we’ll be doing our planning for the coming year, led by our newly installed officers. Everyone’s ideas, suggestions, and comments are considered, and we’d be particularly pleased to hear from you as to how our group can meet your needs. Let us know what you’re looking for in our organization on Monday, July 25, at 6pm — hope to see you there!
